• Emi Buendia, who may be available from Aston Villa and who also played for Leeds manager Daniel Farke at Norwich, is a big Daniel Farke fan.

• 21-year old striker Mateo Joseph has admitted frustration in his situation at Leeds, and understandably so, saying that he would enjoy a bit of clarification about what his role will be next season. Joseph is 21 and under contract through 2028. Other than staying within the limits of Profit & Sustainability Rules, there’s no reason to force any situation with Joseph.
