The Yorkshire Evening Post is here to tell me (you) that Leeds United isn’t likely to sign anyone before July 1.
AC Milan have apparently agreed to terms to sell their Left Back…to make room for Leeds’ Junior Firpo?
There will be no last-minute Leeds swoop-in for goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher - Brentford have made the deal official.
And Former Leeds GK1 Ilian Meslier pissed the team off so much (due to his ping-pong paddle hands) that the team is preparing to offload him this summer and may be looking to replace him with Aaron Ramsdale or Sam Johnstone. After three seasons with Arsenal Ramsdale, who just turned 27, is currently with recently-relegated Southampton, making 30 starts. 30-year old Sam Johnstone has seen time with Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace and, most recently, Wolves, where he made just seven starts.
Leeds United have also made an enquiry into Newcastle United GK Nick Pope, who does not want to leave Newcastle. The 33-year old Pope has spent the past three seasons with Newcastle (28 starts in 2024-25) and will be playing in the Champions League next season.
Reports out of France indicate that Leeds has joined Brighton and Napoli with their interest in Feyenoord winger Igor Paixao.
